Terra Heavy Machinery represents major earthmoving, civil construction, and mining brands across the Top End. We have immediate openings for Heavy Diesel Technicians in Darwin and regional Northern Territory depots.
Northern Territory DAMA Sponsorship Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostics, fault-finding, and field repairs on hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and transmissions (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi).
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, rebuilds, and component replacements.
- Accurately log service records and safety checklists in compliance with NT work safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Recognized Trade Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent foreign qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-apprenticeship heavy mobile plant mechanical experience.
- Valid driver licence and positive Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) assessment or readiness to undergo assessment.
